Kimberli Cornell is a Senior Managing Director of Client Intake and Conflict Management at Ankura Consulting Group and is based in Washington, DC. Ms. Cornell has 24 years of experience in the business consulting industry, primarily in the areas of client intake and conflict management.
Ms. Cornell’s experience includes advising business professionals and liaising with clients on a variety of client acceptance and new engagement issues including resolution and mitigation of actual and perceived conflicts of interest, ensuring new client and bussiness issues are fully evaluated and managed, and addressing relationship concerns with new and existing clients.
Ms. Cornell also has extensive experience with conflict of interest and ethical wall policies and procedures development and implementation, as well as ensuring compliance through oversight and training. She has provided engagement due diligence, system integration assistance, and onboarding assistance in the area of new engagements/conflicts of interest for over thirty–five acquisitions globally.
Prior to joining Ankura, Ms. Cornell was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting responsible for the day to day operations and issues resolution of the Conflict Management function globally. In this role, Ms. Cornell played an integral role in the development of the firm’s conflict policies and processes. Prior to focusing on conflict management full time, Ms. Cornell was a Case Manager in the Applied Sciences segment of FTI Consulting.
Ms. Cornell has an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Paralegal Studies from Anne Arundel Community College.
