Washington, DC – Monday, April 10, 2017 – Ankura Consulting (Ankura) today announced the appointment of Joseph N. Hoang as Managing Director. Mr. Hoang will practice with the firm’s Investigations & Accounting Advisory and Regulatory & Contractual Compliance groups. He will be based in Washington, DC.
Joseph N. Hoang brings to Ankura more than 17 years’ experience in healthcare regulatory, compliance, dispute and operations matters, focused on performance and process improvement, as well as complex data management and analysis. He has extensive experience developing and managing business and technical requirements involving data warehousing, claims analysis and data mining, particularly where these issues relate to healthcare payer claim systems and auditing programs.
Mr. Hoang has worked with health insurers, managed care organizations, physician enterprises, healthcare systems and pharmacy benefit managers, as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers. His work for these healthcare organizations was related to analytics data validation audits, information systems capability assessments, large volume claims billing, and payment disputes, including automated claims auditing. He has also handled prompt-payment frauds, contract breaches and contractor performance issues.
