Jaime Minihane is a Managing Director at Ankura Consulting Group, and is based in Boston, MA. She has more than 15 years of experience in national security, threat assessment and analysis, and federal investigation for the Department of Defense (DoD). Ms. Minihane has extensive experience in conducting complex criminal and counterintelligence operations and investigations worldwide in support of various public sector initiatives.
Prior to joining Ankura, Ms. Minihane served as a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), in Langley, VA. While serving in that role, she provided subject matter expertise to multiple AFOSI Detachments worldwide, ensuring the critical infrastructure, missions, and internal processes of each Air Force base in her portfolio were protected from external and internal hazards. Ms. Minihane assisted in the identification of potential vulnerabilities at each location, and subsequently identified best practices to mitigate prospective risks. Practicing due diligence, and employing her extensive experience and an innovative approach, Ms. Minihane enabled the implementation of robust security strategies to Air Force offices worldwide.
From 2007 to 2014, Ms. Minihane was a supervisory team chief of a counterintelligence office at a Department of Defense agency in Washington, DC. In this role, she was responsible for the planning, direction and guidance of complex, sensitive counterintelligence initiatives in response to the needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JS), and the Office of the Director of U.S. National Intelligence (ODNI). Ms. Minihane’s efforts while at the DoD resulted in the critical detection of various risks to national security, as well as the enhancement of significant information flow across multiple DoD entities. This position required Ms. Minihane to apply creative, innovative, and unchartered techniques to accomplish a various array of deliverables in fast paced environments, which resulted in her ability to process complex problems in an efficient manner. In her supervisory role at the DoD, Ms. Minihane led numerous engagements in North and South America, the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Ms. Minihane began her career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force while serving as a Special Agent with the AFOSI. In this role, she conducted major felony investigations on behalf of the Secretary of the Air Force and applied meticulous analytical skills to ensure that the integrity of her investigations withstood scrutiny of the armed forces justice system. As a Special Agent with the AFOSI, Ms. Minihane also served as a liaison to the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) and enabled the engagement and collaboration of each respective organization’s critical threat program priorities.
Ms. Minihane received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, a Master of International Relations from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Legal Studies from The United States Air Force Academy.
